Clicks Are Not Displaying Properly in Dashboard
Please clear your cache and cookies and log out of ShopStyle Collective and log back in. This is often the resolution. If you still see a dramatic drop or change of your click rate, there might be a system error, please submit a request below.
Discrepancy In Order Tracking
Sometimes a retailer cannot report a sale as a commission for a few possible reasons:
- The order was canceled
- The order was placed in incognito mode
- A coupon or rebate site was in use and received credit for the order
The best way to prevent this from happening is to encourage your audience to initiate their purchase from your blog!
Discrepancy Between Dashboard & Third-Party Analytics Tool
There are a few reasons why you might be seeing a discrepancy between the clicks you see on your ShopStyle Collective dashboard and your third-party analytics platform:
Protection against Low Intent Clicks
Your account tracks high-intent clicks to protect your PPC. ShopStyle Collective makes sure to only count clicks coming from high-intent shoppers to protect your PPC. If your account were credited for lots of "low-intent" clicks, your conversion rate would be damaged. The higher the ratio of readers who click and buy, the better!
What does this mean exactly? If one of your readers clicks on many links in your post quickly, they’re unlikely to convert on all of them. So, instead of tracking all of the clicks they made, we only track a few of them. This protects your click to conversion ratio and in turn, makes sure your click rate stays high!
What does this mean exactly? This could mean ShopStyle Collective participants clicking on their own links and automated programs or robots generating false clicks. Find out more about how ShopStyle Collective handles fraudulent clicks here.
